Above is the moment I realized I was in love with Switzerland, in the Bernese Alps back in 2006.
I was recently interviewed by ExpatArrivals.com, a website providing local info for global expats, about my experience here in Zurich (you can read the interview here). It gave me a chance to look back on our time here and remember all the good times we’ve had, many of them documented here on this blog. This month marks my six year anniversary in Switzerland. I never thought we’d stay this long and now I can’t imagine leaving.
I’ve really enjoyed sharing my experiences with you, my mostly unknown readers. I thought it’d be fun to hear from you this time. So please leave a comment to tell us where your favorite spot in Switzerland is. Come on, it’ll be fun!

Thanks for comments! It love reading about your favorite places. @Kayli – we did the Triftbrücke last weekend. Fun, but a bit harder than most of the hikes we've done lately. We had seriously motivate our kids.
Actually our favorite spot is one we learnt about through your Blog!.
I am almost ashamed to admit it is on our doorstep, and we didn't even know about it…
We LOVE the Klontalersee, and after reading about it here, we have already camped there twice this season, as well as day trips.
Thanks for the tip!
Hell I don't know, so much about this country that I love! Anyway, good part of what we enjoy has been following your trail, your recommendations from this blog, going around with our 2, 4 and 6 year olds. Thanks for sharing!
